Entrepreneurs come with their ideas, and they are mentored on how to implement them in the best ways possible. Swiss Startup Factory trains individuals on how to market their products to the whole world. The company also supplies participants with the funding needed to roll out the business operations. Mike Baur however, takes an executive role or that of a board member in the business that he invests.

Mike Baur is a graduate of two universities. The Bern University and Rochester University. At Bern, he studied MBA and at Rochester University, he studied executive MBA. Mike Baur has a long history working in the banking sector. Since he was 16, he has worked for over two decades in various banks in Switzerland. He started at UBS in 1991 before joining Clariden Leu in 2008.
