As Chairman of the Israeli-American Council (IAC), Adam Milstein is actively seeking to keep the US Jewish community engaged in Israel’s affairs and taking a stand against antisemitism. He’s an author for the Jerusalem Post where he wrote an article about the new antisemitism and how to fight it. The article goes back to the early 20th century in Russia when various native Russians raided Jewish villages and how in the aftermath of that the Jewish people learned to defend their homes. Now Adam Milstein is advocating they learn to defend themselves against ideological attacks as well as physical assaults that he says come primarily from the radical Islamic community and the far left progressives. Most of those attacks are aimed to delegitimize the State of Israel.
Adam Milstein was born in Israel and also served in the Israeli military which included fighting under Ariel Sharon’s command in the Yom Kippur War. He gained experience in real estate first working with his father in building framing, and then completing his bachelor’s at the Technion, Israeli Institute of Technology and his master’s at USC. He co-founded Hager Pacific properties several years later where he is currently Managing Partner.
Adam Milstein is also married to Gila Milstein and has three daughters who also have children of their own. He and Gila started taking philanthropy to the next level when they started the Milstein Family Foundation. Adam Milstein has also worked with Birthright Israel, StandWithUs, Israel on Campus Coalition, Jerusalem U, Hasbara Fellowships and AIPAC as president of the IAC. But one of their most special philanthropies dedicated to educating young children and keeping parents involved is Sifriyat Pijama B’America, a Hebrew language books program that include traditional songs and bedtime stories. Adam Milstein has also been ranked in the Top 50 Most Influential Jews column in the Jerusalem Post.
